Minimizer Poly Fenders Perfect Match for Vintage Rigs

Blooming Prairie, Minn., January 2010 – Minimizer poly fenders are the perfect choice for protecting vintage rigs.

Kelley Burch is from Leoti, Kansas and he’s a Minimizer independent distributor. He’s restored several vintage over-the-road trucks. His latest job was a 1968 Model 358 Peterbilt, shown here. Kelly found the truck at www.truckpaper.com. It used be yellow and green. He had it painted to his custom specs, added a needle nose to it and restored it down to the frame.

“This is just a hobby for me, I’ve never been an over the road trucker. My father was. I just like older trucks,” said Kelley.

As a final touch Kelly added Minimizer poly fenders, the MIN 2480 The Texas Double in a liquid platium finish. “I can’t get over how good these look on the truck. It’s a beautiful finish,” noted Kelley.

So why a modern HDPE poly fender from Minimizer for a vintage truck? “It’s simple,” said Kelley, “what else is going to protect my investment that well? I wanted to protect the new gas tanks and other new parts on the truck and I still haul grain from the farm field with it. Aluminum cracks, poly fenders work great for farming and in this area of the country where we have lots of rough roads.”

Kelley added, “In agriculture we beat the heck out of our fenders. We’re trailering out of ditches with steep grades with little clearance, the fenders invariably with intersect with the trailer and this causes other fenders to bend, break or crack. Not the Minimizer.”

This also helps Kelley as a Minimizer distributor. He gets to show off the product.

“I have several trucks and each one has a set of Minimizer poly fenders,” Kelley bragged. “When I run to the elevator or around town I get questions and I hand them a catalog. A lot of farmers around here use them, it’s a quality product.”

Since inception Minimizer poly fenders have always been unique, they don’t rust. The material they’re constructed from is 100% polyethylene. As a result, they don’t need paint, they never fade or stress crack and you don’t have to polish them. That’s the Minimizer Advantage!

Minimizer poly fenders will enhance the performance and look of all makes and models of over the road trucks, construction vehicles, or agriculture equipment. And now we know they’re a perfect match for protecting vintage trucks and making them look even better.
