Job summary:

Manufacturing Technicians are responsible for setup and run of various machines; such as, saws, grinders, thermoforming equipment, trimming machines, and lift trucks.

  • Load and unload thermoforming and robotic machines and observes operation
  • Inspects and measures machined product to verify conformance to specifications
  • Hand router fender part
  • Cleans fender parts
  • Inspect each part produced to ensure company quality standards are being met
  • Changing machine tools/molds
  • Learn basic robotic duties/functions
  • Thermoforming Liquid Platinum and TPO products
  • Driving Forklift

Requirements:

  • Excellent attention to detail and safety
  • Good time management and self-management skills
  • Basic computer skills are a must. Position is responsible for entering data into the company inventory system.

Job summary:

  • Manufacturing Operators are responsible for assembly of Tool Boxes, welding for standard and custom-ordered fenders, operating mud flap hydraulic press and ShopBot robotic machine.
  • Set up plates and operate hydraulic mud flap press
  • Package Fast Flap Mounting Hardware
  • Assemble poly Tool Boxes by adding latch and other hardware components
  • Operates plastic welder for standard and custom fender parts
  • Loads and unloads sheet on and off of ShopBot robot, loads and runs programs

Job Summary: 

The BDM will develop and maintain relationships with fleets to positively impact Minimizers sales, as well as, Minimizer’s Distributors/ Dealers. This person will be the primary face at fleets, finding and cultivating new business opportunities and facilitating growth within existing fleet accounts.  In addition, the BDM may be required to help identify and develop new distribution opportunities.  The BDM must have excellent organizational skills, be comfortable in a C-suite sales setting and have the ability to leverage already established relationships with key decision makers and leaders. This high-performing individual should be able to create new and innovative sales programs as well as work with existing customers to maximize Minimizer’s value and opportunities. This includes in-person sales calls, on-site training and technical assistance, webinars, one-on-one meetings, trade shows, conferences and additional fleet specific events.

This position will play a key role for Minimizer in trade associations related to the Fleet Market.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:  

Identify and close sales programs with major truck fleets (85%)

  • The BDM will use a strategic selling approach to obtain fleet customer accounts and maintain them as a recurring revenue stream. This will include working with the broader regional sales team and local distribution
  • Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as cold-calling, face-to-face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking and Fleet data reports such as Rig Dig or TDS
  • Identify fleets within a regional area with emphasis on but not limited to HD Class-8 applications
  • Develop new fleet business while leveraging distributors for designated regions
  • Own long-term relationship with fleets that lead to additional sales with new product opportunities
  • Consistently open new doors to new accounts in the fleet community
  • Perform additional job-related duties and responsibilities as they are assigned

Participate in industry events and support various business development initiatives as assigned. (15%)

Job Requirements:

  • 4 year college degree in Business, Marketing or Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in the heavy-duty trucking industry.
  • Excellent Communication Skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Power Point.
  • Valid motor vehicle drivers’ license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to travel throughout U.S., Canada and Mexico.

Packing our products for shipment in a way that ensures the product will reach its destination undamaged.  When receiving product in, the team member is to make sure it is checked in correctly, unloaded and stored correctly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Packages pre-pack nuts and bolts
  • Packages shipments shipping via small parcel and LTL (less the truck load)
  • Quote freight costs and prepare bill of ladings/shipping labels
  • Data entry for shipments
  • Stock shelves
  • tasks, cleaning, setting up racking

Job summary

The Manufacturing Engineer will perform activities generally related to continuous improvement efforts and new product commercialization. The position is the first line of communication, troubleshooting, and resolution for manufacturing issues. This position assists the R&D department with new product development projects as well as product enhancements and improvements. The position will spend time researching new manufacturing methods, new materials, products, etc.

The person in this position must be/become proficient programming robotics, CNC equipment, and PLC machines. Must have general process improvement skills, including ability to conduct value stream analysis. The Manufacturing Engineer maintains company reputation by complying with government regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Identify and troubleshoot processes, materials, or equipment problems to minimize down time and recommend solutions to prevent future issues.
  • Develop, assemble, procure or modify existing and new tooling, fixtures, and equipment to ensure efficient production methods.
  • Create CNC programs for manufacturing equipment such as but not limited to router tables, robotic routers, etc. Some off hours will be needed for programming.
  • Create and maintain programs, including back-ups, for all required equipment.
  • Create and manage manufacturing methods and procedures, including documentation of best practice / standard work instructions.
  • Complete time studies to quantify processing times and identify areas for process improvements.
  • Assist with hands on training of manufacturing employees on new products, tooling, equipment and process revisions.
  • Schedule, complete, and document routine maintenance on applicable manufacturing and test equipment as support to Maintenance.
  • Read schematics, assembly drawings, data sheets, and process sheets to perform testing, build fixtures, checkout and trouble-shoot equipment.
  • Assist in failure analysis, troubleshooting, rework/repair of non-conforming manufactured product to determine root cause.
  • Perform tests, gather data, and write results/reports pertaining to manufacturing related topics (i.e. efficiency, productivity, etc.).
  • Promote and support Lean Manufacturing and Continuous Improvement activities in all manufacturing areas.
  • Installs and validates equipment and processes in the manufacturing area to improve yield and/or reduce cycle time following the established validation procedures.
  • Lead improvement initiatives, including hands-on completion of projects.
  • Comply with policies, guidelines and regulatory requirements per Minimizer Standards and Systems.
  • Work with Product Development Engineers on new product installs, testing and validation.
  • Other tasks and duties as assigned

Minimum requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Manufacturing Engineering –or-

Technical Associate Degree with 3 years of relevant experience.

  • Strong computer skills including proficiency in Robotics and CNC-NC programming.
  • Basic knowledge of PLC, CAD, and print reading
  • Thermoforming, or other plastics processing, beneficial
