Blooming Prairie, MN, December 2013 — Minimizer customer Mike Meyer is still so proud of his customized 2011 Minimizer 2260 Diamond Plate fenders that he stopped by Minimizer headquarters just to let the Company know. In fact, during an interview, Meyer said he just bought another pair this month.

Meyer chooses Minimizer for a number of reasons. “My 2011 fenders look as new as the day I painted them! Minimizer fenders can undergo any beating and still maintain their integrity. I’ve tried Minimizer’s competitors, and the competition’s products just don’t stand up to the pounding big rigs have to take.”

Rick Swenson, Minimizer’s Inside Sales Consultant, said, “Meyer frequently travels through Blooming Prairie to get to the Hormel Plant in Austin, MN. I recently saw him and almost swung my car around to follow him. I knew he had Minimizer fenders because of the brackets and Diamond Plate look, but since they were blue it threw me for a loop! It’s not a standard color so I knew they were painted!”

And blue they are! After he purchased them, Meyer painted his fenders with the Ford Tractor Company’s blue that they use on plastic. He said, “I used a light sanding wheel and a standard plastic primer. Simple! Minimizer fender installation goes so smoothly! It was easy to mount the brackets to the wheelbase. It only takes a ¼ of the time of their competitors; I’m not kidding!”

Craig Kruckeberg, Minimizer’s CEO and Chief Visionary said, “Minimizer’s 2260 fenders come in multiple color options, but blue is not one. The fact that a customer wanted our fenders because of their quality and then customized them speaks volumes about our products’ desirability and superiority. It makes me wonder what other proud owners of Minimizer products have done.”

Another reason Meyer keeps coming back to Minimizer is because of the way he is treated. “Besides the fact these fenders take one hell-of-a-beating, when I stop in at their facilities, Minimizer employees make me feel welcome, like I own 100 trucks, not just one. They make me feel like they care about me, and I like that! They’re such great people. And their distributors carry that same treatment and brand message when I order!”

Swanson said that Meyer’s truck proves there is no end to how outstanding Minimizer fenders can make a truck look. Besides wanting to share how appreciative a Minimizer customer is, he also told Kruckeberg about Meyer because of the truck itself. “Craig, that is one sharp rig!” he said.

Meyer took great care in his unusual application of the fenders. It isn’t an application for every trucker.
